Life expectancy is rising at an accelerated pace, a demographic shift that makes it increasingly urgent to rethink how we promote long-term wellness and quality of life.
Sport City and Lonvida announce Mexico’s first partnership between a network of fitness clubs and a longevity center to advance longevity and personalized preventive health programs.
Mexico City, July 29, 2026.
Life expectancy continues to rise worldwide. By 2050, one in six people globally will be age 65 or older, making it essential to invest in prevention from an early age to improve quality of life at every stage. Wellness no longer depends on physical activity alone, but also on tools such as precision medicine, genomics, and preventive care.
With this vision, Sport City, a fitness club network committed to building an ecosystem of wellness solutions through physical activity, and Lonvida, a clinic specializing in preventive medicine and longevity that provides personalized solutions, announced a strategic partnership to offer their members and users an integrated approach combining exercise, prevention, and personalized health.
“At Sport City, we believe the future of fitness should no longer focus solely on improving the physical performance of our members and users, but on helping them live longer and, above all, live better,” said Luis Miguel Rodríguez Penagos, CEO of Sport City.
“Today, wellness demands a smarter approach, one in which exercise is complemented by biometric and genomic information within a preventive framework. We are therefore excited to announce this partnership with Lonvida, a strategic step toward giving our members tools to understand their health status, anticipate potential risks, and make informed decisions to build longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives,” the executive added.
A Shared Long-Term Vision
The partnership includes the development of joint initiatives focused on assessing health indicators, as well as exclusive and specialized experiences that will help people better understand their physical condition and adopt sustainable long-term habits. Beginning in September, Sport City membership will include access to Salud.ia, Lonvida’s personalized longevity platform, as well as longevity protocols that Sport City will offer in collaboration with its coaches.
“At Lonvida, we believe that longevity is not an isolated medical concept, but a lifestyle built every day. This partnership with Sport City allows us to unite the science of longevity with training, integrating movement as one of the fundamental pillars of a long and healthy life, alongside preventive medicine, precision health assessments, biomarkers, and artificial intelligence, to help people make better decisions about their health and well-being,” emphasized Alfredo Carvajal, Managing Director of Lonvida.

According to Yosafat Audiffred, Medical Director of Lonvida, up to 70% of the most common chronic diseases can be prevented or delayed through lifestyle changes, early detection, and ongoing monitoring of health indicators. Likewise, various studies show that life expectancy has increased in recent decades, but the number of years lived in good health has not necessarily kept pace, driving greater interest in strategies focused on extending healthspan.
“In recent months, Lonvida has conducted more than 135 comprehensive health assessments and found that 65% to 70% of those evaluated had modifiable risk factors associated with chronic disease, even though they considered themselves healthy,” he explained.
Through this partnership, both organizations aim to broaden the conversation about the importance of prevention, movement, and understanding one’s own body as key elements in building a longer, healthier life.
Lonvida is a wellness and longevity center specializing in preventive and regenerative medicine that is redefining the future of health through a model that integrates science, technology, and personalized medical care. In addition to its prevention programs, Lonvida offers regenerative medicine, cellular therapies, hormone optimization, personalized nutrition, regenerative aesthetic medicine, and specialized protocols to improve health, performance, and quality of life. As part of its ecosystem, Lonvida incorporates Salud.ia, an artificial intelligence platform that transforms clinical and biological data into personalized recommendations and evidence-based action plans.
